AES Partners with Fresno State and Fresno Unified School District for Innovative Day Camps
Fresno, CA – Adventure Education Solutions (AES) is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with California State University Fresno's College of Health and Human Services and Department of Recreation Administration, alongside the Fresno Unified School District (FUSD), to host a series of dynamic day camps for students. These camps are scheduled for the weeks of December 18-21, 2023, and January 2-5, 2024, and are set to provide enriching experiences to 600+ FUSD students.
This initiative is a unique blend of education, fun, and skill-building, designed to create memorable and impactful learning opportunities for young minds. Students from the Department of Recreation Administration, under the skilled guidance of Dr. Jason Whiting, will lead and manage the camp programs. These university students will not only impart valuable recreational skills but also showcase their leadership prowess, benefiting campers and counselors alike.
The camps offer a diverse range of activities tailored to different interests and age groups. Highlights include rock climbing, cooking, LEGO Brick Building, craft activities, and even ski/snowboard camps. This wide variety ensures that every participant finds something to spark their interest and enthusiasm.
